Quality Assurance / Lab Technician

Job Description Under general direction of the Quality Supervisor, The Quality Assurance Technician:

* Performs necessary quality inspection, testing and quality activities.
* Ensures that the results of inspection and tests performed conform to YSPS, Regulatory or Customer Standards.
* Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists team members in solving work problems.

Skills

* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrate teamwork and professionalism and the achievement of high levels of productivity
* Good mathematical skills.
*Relevant experience should include understanding of measuring and inspection tools and techniques, with knowledge of the metric system
* High level of problem solving skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment

Previous quality experience is required

Qualifications

* 1 years minimum work experience in Q.A. preferable in the automotive industry.
* Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
* Experience with formed metals (metal stamping) is preferred.
* Proven track record of excellent attendance required.

Required experience:

Quality Control experience 1 year and up .
